Bryan dog bite injury no longer a risk: puppy found

Remember that possibly rabid puppy that was given to a man at a grocery store in Bryan? That puppy no longer poses a Bryan dog bite injury or Bryan rabies risk, according to The Eagle.

The puppy, a male blue heeler that a person gave to a man in a supermarket parking lot, was thought to be a Bryan dog bite injury risk when litter mates to the puppy tested positive for rabies.

Neither the dog nor its new owner could be located last week when the dog was thought to be a potential Bryan dog bite injury risk. However, the man was located and the dog was tested and proven not to be rabid.

Man seeks animal control services after Texas dog bite accident

A man is seeking animal control services for his small town after he suffered a Texas dog bite injury and was unable to get the county animal control agency to assist him, according to the Austin-American Statesman.

The Texas dog bite accident occurred when the man was standing on his porch, watching a stray dog and her puppies pursue his cat. However, when the dog saw the man she came after him instead.

The Texas dog bite victim was able to kick the dog off of him, but he complains that there are no animal control services for his town of residence. The small town is not contracted with the county animal control services.

The Texas dog bite victim is seeking the support of city government to acquire animal control services from the county.

Austin auto accident shuts down I-35 for hours

April 23, 2009

An Austin auto accident caused Interstate 35 to be shut down for four hours, according to KXAN.

The Austin car accident occurred Sunday on Slaughter Lane around 6 p.m. when the driver of a Toyota Avalon lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll onto the highway and cross three lanes of traffic.

One man in the Avalon died at the scene of the crash.  His roommate and an 11-year-old child were taken to a hospital following the Texas auto accident.

The scene of the Austin auto accident was cleared by 9 p.m.

One killed, two others suffer Texas burn injuries

The Houston Chronicle reported that a Texas fire accident killed a 5-year-old girl and injured two others Sunday.

Family members escaped the fire when they realized the 5-year-old girl was still inside the home.

The girl died at a local hospital as a result of her Texas burn injuries. Another woman believed to be the girl’s aunt suffered Texas burn injuries to her feet, arms, and hands.

A neighbor who attempted to rescue someone in the home suffered smoke inhalation when he propped a ladder against a window of the burning home.

The fire and the alleged arsonist who had a longstanding feud with his family members are still under investigation.

Five fighters suffer Texas burn injuries

March 3, 2009

According to KTRK, a fire caused five firefighters to suffer Texas burn injuries when they tried to put out a blaze on Sunday.

The Texas fire accident occurred at a house on Reed Road and there were reports that children were inside the home. However, when firefighters arrived, no children were present.

As a result of battling the blaze, two firefighters received Texas burn injuries, one on his neck and one on his back.

Three firefighters received Texas electrocution injuries when they suffered shocks due to a live wire at the home.

Waco truck accident injures two

February 26, 2009

A Waco truck accident injured two people Monday when a car flipped on Interstate 35 and hit a semi truck, according to KWTX.

The Texas truck accident occurred when the car lost control and struck a guardrail, causing it to flip. That’s when the car crashed with the semi truck.

One of the Waco truck accident injury victims was taken to a hospital following the crash.
Southbound traffic was delayed because of the Waco truck accident.

Texas dog bite accident injures two

WFAA reported that two Texas dog bite accidents injured three people Saturday.

The Texas dog bite accident happened when two pit bulls escaped from their yard and wandered to a local market where they attacked patrons as they left the store.

A 59-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were injured and taken to the hospital as a result of the Texas dog bite accident.

The male Texas dog bite accident victim suffered injuries to his head and face, while the female dog bite accident victim suffered arm and upper body injuries.

Patients could get Texas defective product injuries from insulin

February 10, 2009

The Statesman reported that over 2,100 patients could have been subjected to Texas defective product injuries from insulin injections that may have been flawed.

Patients at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center may have been exposed to HIV or hepatitis because of possibly flawed insulin devices.

A discovery that patients may have been exposed to the defective injections caused a review to check for Texas defective product injuries.

None of the patients potentially at risk for Texas drug injuries have been tested yet. Authorities believe the risk for infection is low.

Texas truck accident kills woman

February 5, 2009

A Texas truck accident occurring early Tuesday killed a 40-year-old woman, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The Texas truck accident occurred when a sand truck was turning left onto Industrial Boulevard from a service road on Highway 183. The truck hit a blue car driven by the woman.

The sand truck rolled onto the woman’s car, crushing the Texas auto accident victim inside the car.

The driver of the sand truck and a passenger were treated for minor Texas truck accident injuries at a local hospital.

Dallas auto accident injures one

February 3, 2009

NBCDFW reported that a Dallas auto accident injured a driver Friday.

The Dallas car accident occurred when a rock hauler fell onto a driver’s car on Interstate 35 East.

The Texas auto accident occurred about 2:05 p.m.  The driver was trapped in the car after the rock hauler rolled over on his car, but a passenger was able to escape before emergency crews arrived.

After he was freed from the vehicle, the driver was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition following the Dallas auto accident.
