Fire hazards are all over our homes. The kitchen is one place that contains many fire hazards: electrical and gas appliances, open flames and heat, all mixed with water can present many dangers.
Unfortunately, firefighters are pointing to the kitchen as the cause of a Texas fire that killed an 80-year-old man, according to KWTX.
The Texas fire that took the man’s life occurred on East Avenue.
The Texas fire victim was found in another part of the home near the kitchen when firefighters arrived at the home which was ablaze.
Food that was cooking and left unattended in the kitchen was likely the cause of the Texas fire.

The cause of a fire can be difficult to determine if the fire destroys the structure. However, the Waco Police Department is not giving up on getting information on a Waco fire that severely injured a woman in March.
According to KWTX, a woman injured in a Waco fire in March was released from the hospital this week.
The woman suffered Waco fire and burn injuries after a fire occurred in her home after she claimed a masked man entered her home and set it on fire. She ran from the home with her clothes on fire.
However, police discovered surveillance footage of the woman purchasing gasoline in a gas can the morning of the Waco fire.
Police still want to talk to the woman about the Waco fire.

When we think of thunderstorms or severe weather, we think to shelter our families, but sometimes our homes fall victim to weather when we have sought shelter within them.
That’s what happened when lightning caused a Texas fire that damaged a home, according to KXAN. Lightning struck the home and caused it to catch fire, and it took more than a dozen firefighters to put out the blaze.
The house suffered $5,000 in damage as a result of the Texas fire. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the Texas fire.

A man was killed in a Texas fire accident, according to We Are Austin.
The Texas fire accident occurred on Arroyo Bluff Lane Tuesday afternoon around 2 pm.
The man killed in the Texas fire accident was in a shed at the back of the home. Neighbors of the man tried to rescue him but were unable to do so.
The work shed where the Texas fire accident victim died contained gas and propane cans.

The Houston Chronicle reported that a Texas fire accident killed a 5-year-old girl and injured two others Sunday.
Family members escaped the fire when they realized the 5-year-old girl was still inside the home.
The girl died at a local hospital as a result of her Texas burn injuries. Another woman believed to be the girl’s aunt suffered Texas burn injuries to her feet, arms, and hands.
A neighbor who attempted to rescue someone in the home suffered smoke inhalation when he propped a ladder against a window of the burning home.
The fire and the alleged arsonist who had a longstanding feud with his family members are still under investigation.

According to KTRK, a fire caused five firefighters to suffer Texas burn injuries when they tried to put out a blaze on Sunday.
The Texas fire accident occurred at a house on Reed Road and there were reports that children were inside the home. However, when firefighters arrived, no children were present.
As a result of battling the blaze, two firefighters received Texas burn injuries, one on his neck and one on his back.
Three firefighters received Texas electrocution injuries when they suffered shocks due to a live wire at the home.

The cause of a Texas fire accident may be arson, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The Texas fire accident occurred at a family’s brick home when an explosive was thrown through a window of the house around 2 a.m.
The family members, including a man, woman, and their 19-year-old son, awoke to the sound of breaking glass and discovered the Texas fire accident. They escaped through the garage and front door of the home.
None of the family members sustained Texas fire injuries.
Investigators suspect that the fire was deliberately set, though they have not named any suspects at this time.
